Putting a property repair list into one clear scope

Instead of arranging separate visits for every small defect, customers can provide one clear list. We organise the correct people, identify items that need specialist input and document any additional concerns found on site.

Start with the property and the intended result

A useful scope records the condition that can be seen, the areas to be included, the required finish and any access constraints. Photographs and measurements help establish what can be priced remotely and what needs an inspection.

Work that may form part of the scope

Carpentry

Repairs and installation involving timber components, boxing, trims, shelving and other agreed joinery.

Flooring

Preparation and installation of laminate, LVT, vinyl and carpet, subject to the existing subfloor and moisture conditions.

Door installation and repairs

Adjustment, repair or replacement of internal and external doors, frames, ironmongery and associated finishes.

Minor plumbing

Repairs and replacements involving accessible fittings, wastes, taps and small plumbing items.

Minor electrical works

Small electrical tasks arranged with an appropriately qualified contractor where certification or regulated work is required.

Before work begins

Ask for a written quotation that records the agreed work, access method, assumptions and exclusions. If concealed defects are found during the job, they should be reported and approved before additional chargeable work proceeds.

A common question

Can several small jobs be completed in one visit?

Yes. Send photographs and a prioritised list so we can allow suitable time and materials.
