A good finish starts long before the final coat. We assess the condition of each surface, protect the property properly and specify preparation and paint systems that suit the room, substrate and expected level of use.
Start with the property and the intended result
A useful scope records the condition that can be seen, the areas to be included, the required finish and any access constraints. Photographs and measurements help establish what can be priced remotely and what needs an inspection.
Work that may form part of the scope
Bespoke interior painting
Careful decoration of walls, ceilings, doors, woodwork and architectural details using suitable premium systems for each surface.
Exterior painting
Preparation and redecoration of render, masonry, windows, doors and external joinery where safe access can be provided.
Spray finishing
Controlled spray application for larger surfaces and selected joinery, delivering an even finish with thorough masking and protection.
Cabinet and furniture spraying
Preparation, priming and finishing of suitable MDF cabinetry, fitted furniture and kitchen doors, subject to inspection of the existing substrate.
Heritage and period property decoration
Sensitive work to sash windows, mouldings, cornices and traditional features, retaining character while addressing normal wear and localised defects.
Before work begins
Ask for a written quotation that records the agreed work, access method, assumptions and exclusions. If concealed defects are found during the job, they should be reported and approved before additional chargeable work proceeds.
A common question
How long will decorating take?
Timescales depend on room size, access and the amount of preparation required. Your quotation will set out the expected programme.
